FLESH is co-produced by local artists Sian Myers, Fenella Ryan and Stephanie Potter who now collaborate under the pseudonym: The Sinews and will be your hosts for the evening.
The aim of the night is to provide a space for emerging and semi-established artists to share their work in its early stages of development in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. It is an opportunity for the artist to test their work on a live audience without the formalities of a theatre setting.
For the first event there will be invited guest performers as well as artists that have come through an application process.
The WMC’s original purpose was to provide the Victorian working man with a controlled environment in which to socialise and drink. The girls want to bring back the community and entertainment to the Working Men’s Clubs and revive what was once a social centre for many.
This is the first of its kind in Hull combining a good night out with live performance.
